Common Troubleshooting

We’re here to help—but here are quick tips to try first:

Check if the bobbin winder is on. If it is, slide it into the off position. The bobbin winder can often, unknowingly get bumped and turned on.
If your machine is skipping, looping, shredding, breaking, has bad tension, try changing your needle, rethreading, or oiling.
Clean and oil your hook area. If you are unsure of how to oil your hook, stop by with your machine and allow a member of our team to show you.
If your machine is giving error codes or not functioning properly, try to reboot it. Power the machine off for 10-20 seconds, then power the machine back on.
Rotate the handwheel fully forward. This will align everything properly and allow your feed dogs to come back to the up position.
Check presser foot pressure, and or remove the needle plate and clean out any lint build up in the feed dog area.
